You remind me of my daughter, Imade – Davido tells 12-year-old reporter in recent interview [Video]

A video of Afrobeats Superstar Davido’s latest interview with Jazlyn Guerra, host of Jazzy’s World TV, making reference to Imade has gone viral online.

The viral video showed the 12-year-old reporter asking the head of the DMW label to give her a special Nigerian name that fits her.

In answer, Davido remarked that since she reminded him of his first daughter, Imade Adeleke, he would name her after her.

The OBO Crooner praised her for attracting a sizable following at such a young age.

His words;

“You remind a lot like my daughter, Imade, I feel you’re very advanced and have a very large audience”

Jazzy out of excitement, incorrectly pronounced her new nigerian name, Imade, to which Davido immediately corrected her.

Congratulatory messages continue to pour in from fans, friends and family for much-loved Nigerian singer, Davido, who just clocked 30.

Imade Adeleke, 1st child of Davido and Music star’s Babymama Sophia Momodu, gave a special birthday shout-out to her dad on social media.

The 7-year-old prayed for God’s peace, joy and love in all he does as she wrote:

“Happy birthday daddy, I wish you peace, joy and love”

Imade, on her official Instagram page, subtly remembered Ifeanyi, as she accompanied her birthday post with a photo of her late kid brother alongside Singer and sister Hailey.

“Chioma is Someone I Can Leave her With And Nothing Will Happen, I trust her” – Davido

Ace Nigerian singer, Davido Adeleke has reiterated the level of trust he has for his babymama, Chioma Rowland.

Speaking during an interview with Ebuka, Davido said he has known Chioma for years and has developed a high level of trust for her.

He added that he can leave his daughter, Imade, with Chioma and be certain that nothing bad will happen while they are together.

“I have known Chioma for like seven years now. She was my friend then and we got used to each other. I have kids and having someone I know that I can leave them with. Chioma is someone I can leave Imade with and nothing will happen. She’s that kind of girl. I trust her. She didn’t want to do assurance video. Na me beg am”, Davido said.
