Yvonne Jegede, a Nollywood actress, has slammed Naira Marley and his aide, Sam Larry, for underestimating his former signee, Mohbad.
Thousands of young people gathered last night to pay tribute to the late artist with a candlelight service.
Yvonne criticized Naira and his crew for underestimating Mohbad while sharing clips from the moving incident. She noticed how they mistook him for an ant, which they could easily smash.
Yvonne also stated that Naira Marley overestimated himself and has yet to see anything.
“Sam Larry, you underestimated Imole’s glory, e shock you Abi? You thought he was an any that you could squash? You never see anything at all. Naira Marley, you overestimated yourself, take a look at DJ Splash’s present condition. How intoxicated did you get with power and money to subject people’s children to such?”.
Since Mohbad’s death, the singer has been showered with love from celebs and Nigerians alike. Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, Paulo Okoye, Davido, Soso Soberekon, and others have publicly backed him.
Tonto Dikeh’s charity had awarded Mohbad’s son a scholarship and pledged to provide his wife a monthly allowance.
She had publicly confronted Naira Marley after he posed a series of questions to Nigerians in response to Mohbad’s death.
She advised him to shut up and not to confuse Mohbad’s followers, adding that he looks nicer with his lips closed.
She had even gone as far as clashing with her bff, Angela Okorie over her relationship with Naira Marley.
