Naira Marley, a well-known singer, has come under fire from Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh for asking the Nigerian police to ensure his safety before returning to the country to help with the investigation into the death of his former signee, Mohbad.
Sam Larry and Marley, two of the main suspects in the 27-year-old rapper’s killing, had been traveling abroad.
Larry apparently sneaked into Nigeria last week, but the Marlian Music CEO is still away. He stated that he would only go back to Nigeria if the government would ensure his safety.
Tonto, who has been following the issue along with several other celebrities, reacted to the incident by calling his need for assurance of safety absurd.

The 38-year-old actress charged Naira Marley with intentionally harassing Mohbad, assaulting him, and setting him up to consider suicide.
The ‘Tesumole’ singer, according to her, has no right to make such demands because he never ensured Mohbad’s safety while he was alive.
Dikeh captioned her post: “No sleep for the wicked.”
The mother of one added; “Naira Marley you want your safety to be guaranteed? Laughable. But you never gave #Generalmohbad a chance at life free of bullying, extortion, violence, drug abuser.
Set ups, beatings, terror and fear of one’s life till the point he felt unaliving himself would be better than facing your ( Naira Marley/sam Larry) wrath. You never guaranteed his safety and always hurt him at every given chance!!”
