Nigerian man identified as Daniel Ayuba Mark has reportedly committed suicide after an amount of N1.5 million was withdrawn from his sport betting account by some unknown scammers.
In a series of tweet, the young man revealed that an amount of N1.5 million was being withdrawn from his sports betting account through a card he never knew he saved on his betting account.
Daniel was said to have reached out to the sports betting company for his money to be retrieved from these scammers but all his efforts proved abortive.
He returned to Twitter to reveal that he has fled from his home with the intentions of ending his life since he has been unable to retrieve the said amount he lost to the unknown scammers.
Daniel before committing the callous act said he needed to stay alive and face his fears, hence he begged Twitter users to help him raise N1.5 million but no one paid attention to him.
On 25th February, Daniel came back on Twitter to reveal that he had committed suicide as a result of the incident but everyone thought he was only seeking attention until the next day, his obituary post was sighted on the platform.
Daniel died on 26th February and was buried on 28th February.
