“Your former s3x partners can’t be your bestie” – Rinu Oduala schools those in relationships

  • Nigerian activist Rinu Oduala has emphasized that an ex-partner cannot be their bestie while in a relationship.
    • Rinu, in a tweet on Twitter, urged those in relationships who claim their ex is their best friend to stop deceiving themselves.

    Rinu Oduala, a prominent Nigerian activist, has expressed the view that individuals cannot maintain a close friendship with their ex-partners while in a romantic relationship.

    In a post on X, previously known as Twitter, Rinu urged those in relationships who refer to their exes as their best friends to reconsider their stance and avoid self-deception.

    She wrote, “Your former sex partners can’t be your current friends or even your best friends if you are in a relationship. Can we stop deceiving ourselves this year??”

    “Nothing like bestie if Una don knack before.”

    Rinu has served on the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry and Restitution regarding police brutality and was a key figure during the EndSars protests in Nigeria.

    Reacting to the post…

    @ZariyiYusufu said, “🎯
    There is a door that, unless you plan to continue passing through, once open cannot be shut; best to avoid it.
    Certain relationships are best severed, otherwise we keep doing some “revisits”.

    You can’t deceive the wise one

    @manah_mathew stated, “That is the highest deception in the history of deceit. You will definitely got knack again and that is the sole reason for keeping the friendship at best friend or just a friend.”
