Controversial street-pop artist Portable has reignited a dispute with his former partner, actress Ashabi Simple, on social media.

Portable criticized the actress for what he termed insincere affection, just weeks after the birth of their second child.

In a video posted on Instagram, Ashabi referred to herself as “a blessed, happy, determined, peaceful and grateful woman,” which prompted Portable’s reaction.

He expressed his discontent in the comments, accusing Ashabi of seeking fame through their relationship and asserting that her self-praise was unwarranted.

He wrote; “You dey look for fame that is why you born for star. No dey use your own fake love dey spoil real love for me.

“Your leg no good oo, you need prayer.”

According to GistLover, the couple unfollowed each other in January 2024, following Ashabi’s appearance on the ‘Talk to B’ podcast.

In related news, Portable continues to publicly criticize his fourth partner, Ashabi Simple, asserting that she exploits their private life for her film projects. He has also condemned her friends for allegedly attempting to sabotage their relationship.

Previously, it was reported that Portable expressed in the comments section of Ashabi Simple’s post that her interest in him is driven by a desire for fame rather than genuine affection.

He further accused her and her associates of engaging in gossip about him, which he believes is detrimental to their relationship.

The Zazoo artist also remarked on her lack of respect towards him, despite her public declarations of love. He claimed that she utilizes their intimate moments as inspiration for her films and hinted that he might soon pursue relationships with her close friends.
