In a viral video, the father of the bride, after passing his daughter to the groom, mentioned that a wife isn’t required to cook for her husband.

He warned the groom against believing the cultural idea that he is the head of the household and should return home from work with a frown, expecting a meal.

He wondered who claimed that wives must prepare meals for their husbands, pointing out that no one is required to cook just to satisfy their husbands or to secure a place in paradise.

He noted that his wife could back him up, as there were occasions when he got home and found no food, and he accepted it without complaint.
