Yul Edochie berates those who know Bible characters but don’t know their ancestors

  • Yul Edochie said that people who are familiar with all the characters in the Bible but lack knowledge of their own ancestors are “Lost.”
    • He made this comment in a statement on Sunday, urging Nigerians to look into their heritage.

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie said that people who are familiar with all the characters in the Bible but lack knowledge of their own ancestors are “Lost.”

He made this comment in a statement on Sunday, urging Nigerians to look into their heritage.

Edochie pointed out that people who don’t know about the accomplishments of their ancestors, like their great-grandmothers and grandfathers, should be ashamed.

He wrote, “If you’re an African, and you know all about Peter, Paul, Joseph in the Bible and the people of Israel, and yet you know nothing about your village, your ancestors, your lineage, the exploits of your great grandfathers and grandmothers, you should be ashamed of yourself.

    You’re lost.

In other news, Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has criticized Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy for not honoring his commitment to purchase a Lamborghini for socialite Sophia Egbueje, following an alleged one-night encounter with her.

It has come to light through a recently leaked audio conversation between Sophia and a friend, in which she claimed that Burna Boy had a brief affair with her and subsequently failed to deliver on his promise of the luxury vehicle.

Shortly after the audio became public, Burna Boy took to his social media platforms to make disparaging remarks, seemingly mocking the socialite.

In her response, Angela contended that Burna Boy exploited the situation with the socialite, emphasizing that she had already communicated her expectations to the singer.

The actress asserted that as a public figure, Burna Boy should set a positive example and honor his commitments, as many individuals regard him as a role model.

In a video message shared on her Instagram account, Okorie expressed her views.

“This is the wrongest thing any celebrity will ever do.

You’re supposed to be human, God made you this mega super star for a reason; to advocate for the people who cannot speak and to help people who need help. Because as far as I’m concerned that girl [Sophia Egbueje] needs help. But you took advantage of her because she told you her price.

“Those criticizing Sophia for demanding a Lamborghini are not being fair because she has named her price. That’s who she is. She has told you she’s as big as a Lamborghini. If you can afford that then you can sleep with her. That’s what she said. And you, a public figure, an A-list mega super star that is supposed to be advocating for people that need help, you are taking advantage of it.”
