Yul Edochie has expressed his views on people called “Ogbanje,” who are often linked to spiritual powers.
The movie star mentioned on Instagram that these people have special gifts that can help others.
He believes that ignorance, religious views, and fear of being judged often cause them to hide their true selves.
Yul urged them to look within themselves, embrace their talents, and use those gifts to find their purpose in life and lead a satisfying life.
“Many people we call ‘Ogbanje’ are people who are spiritually gifted,”
Yul Edochie said. “And the essence of having such a spiritual gift is to use it to help humanity. But because of ignorance, religion, and the fear of what people will say, they keep trying to run away from who they are, and by doing so, their lives become messed up. Dig deep, find your true self, and embrace it, and you’ll realize the essence of your existence and live a fulfilled life.”
His message was meant to encourage self-awareness and acceptance for people who identify as “Ogbanje” or have spiritual gifts.
