Yul Edochie Pens Emotional Tribute to Late Son on His Posthumous 18th Birthday

Renowned Nigerian filmmaker and actor Yul Edochie has taken to social media to honor the memory of his late son, Kambilichukwu, on what would have been his 18th birthday, January 4, 2025.

In a deeply moving post on his official Facebook page, Yul reflected on the profound loss that continues to weigh heavily on his heart more than two years after Kambilichukwu’s tragic passing. He described the enduring pain and emptiness in his life, emphasizing that the grief remains as fresh as ever.

The actor shared a heartfelt message expressing his longing for his son, whom he described as an irreplaceable part of his world. Yul also found solace in imagining Kambi in a peaceful realm, free from the hardships of the world, living joyfully in the afterlife.

“Happy 18th birthday, son, Kambi Yul-Edochie.

“Hope you’re doing well over there, flying with the angels and playing basketball and football.

“I miss you so much, Keep watching over your family, Till we meet again. Forever in my heart, Love you, son.”
