As rumors intensified regarding billionaire politician Ned Nwoko allegedly fathering a child with a Nollywood actress, attention quickly focused on the well-known figure, Chika Ike.
Following her recent announcement of pregnancy, speculation surged, largely ignited by the infamous gossip blog Gistlover, which suggested that the child’s father was a prominent, polygamous individual already wed to a Nollywood star.
Consequently, Regina Daniels found herself at the epicenter of the controversy. Social media users inundated her profile with incessant inquiries, prompting her to retreat from the digital sphere by deactivating her Instagram account over the weekend.
Significantly, she also chose to remain silent on Valentine’s Day and did not acknowledge her husband’s recent political achievement, which only fueled further suspicions.
Amidst the online chatter, filmmaker and actor Yul Edochie, known for his penchant for seizing the spotlight, entered the fray.
In his characteristic confident manner, the actor, who has encountered considerable marital criticism, took to Facebook to share what many perceived as a subtle confirmation.
Boasting about the resilience he and Judy Austin have shown against online criticism, Yul appeared to suggest that his colleagues should emulate Regina by deactivating their accounts if they were unable to withstand the scrutiny.
Sharing a photo with Judy, he wrote;
“Social media is not for the weak. If you can’t take the heat, leave. Deactivate your account. Happy new week everyone.”
His ambiguous remarks ignited a flurry of activity on social media, with some interpreting it as a direct reference to the turmoil within the Nwoko family, while others criticized him for consistently inserting himself into trending controversies.
