Nigerian comedian, content creator, and actor Zicsaloma has released a new video three weeks following his rhinoplasty, in which he explains the reasons for undergoing the surgery.

In the video, which has gained significant attention on X, formerly known as Twitter, Aloma updates his audience on his recovery process. He mentioned that his face was considerably swollen in a previous post, but he has observed a reduction in swelling, which he anticipates will continue to improve in the upcoming weeks.

Aloma revealed that the motivation for the surgery stemmed from years of mockery regarding the appearance of his nose, particularly from his siblings, which led to feelings of self-consciousness about its size.

In the video, he confidently displayed his nose, expressing his contentment with the outcome and highlighting that it will further refine over time.

He also addressed the financial aspect of the procedure, stating:

“This is three weeks post-operation, three weeks after my rhinoplasty. I’ll be taking off this cast so you guys can see how well my nose has healed. If you noticed, my face is less swollen. The last video I posted was five days after my surgery, and my face was still very swollen. It will continue to go down.”

To clarify any misconceptions surrounding rhinoplasty, he remarked:

“Some of you don’t even know what rhinoplasty is. Some think it’s a death sentence. People undergo it for different reasons—some for aesthetics, like me, and others for medical reasons, such as breathing issues. I’ve always had a very flat nose, and if I could have reconstructed it as a child, I would have.”

Aloma also shared his experiences with ridicule:

“My siblings constantly insulted my nose, calling it too big and ugly. Among us, I was the only one with this type of nose. It made me feel different.”

Regarding the cost of the surgery, he addressed ongoing speculation, stating:

“I want the speculations to continue, but for the sake of transparency, I didn’t pay for the procedure. It was a collaboration between me and a hospital.”

As the video garnered attention on the internet, social media users inundated the comment section with their reactions, expressing their opinions regarding his transformation.
