A Zimbabwean woman playfully warned her Nigerian husband that she might seek a divorce if the Super Eagles defeat the Warriors in their World Cup qualifier match today.
Nigeria’s Super Eagles recently secured a win after Victor Osimhen scored in their match against Rwanda at the Amahoro Stadium in Kigali. The last time Nigeria and Rwanda faced off in 2023, the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
Angela Chukwubuikem, a Zimbabwean woman, shared her lighthearted threat in the comment section of a video posted by her Nigerian husband, Martins Chukwubuikem. In the video, Martins confidently predicted a Super Eagles victory over the Warriors.
However, Angela expressed her unwavering support for Zimbabwe, stating, “I see Zimbabwe winning; that is all I can see. I know this is the home of the Super Eagles, but victory is ours.”
Responding to his wife’s playful remark, Martins recalled how he had no choice but to support Zimbabwe when they previously drew against Nigeria.
