In a recent video, former Nigerian socialite Gucci Branch, who is currently employed as a laborer, criticized his peers in the entertainment sector for neglecting him during his challenging times. He conveyed his disappointment at being left to navigate his difficulties without support.
In a widely circulated interview, Gucci Branch specifically called out Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Rahman Jago, and Pocolee for abandoning him to face his struggles alone since their arrest and subsequent release by the EFCC.
It is important to recall that in 2019, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission apprehended Gucci Branch, Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Rahman Jago, and the celebrity Biesloaded on charges related to internet fraud.
At that time, Gucci Branch was recognized as one of Nigeria’s most entertaining content creators, having collaborated with notable figures such as Burna Boy, Davido, and Tiwa Savage.
However, in the recent video that has gained traction online as of September 16, 2024, Gucci Branch revealed that he is now working as a laborer to sustain himself.
He expressed significant dissatisfaction regarding the apparent disregard from Naira Marley, Rahman Jago, Zlatan Ibile, and Biesloaded, while he particularly confronted Pocolee.
Gucci Branch asserted that he had previously assisted Pocolee, claiming that in 2019, when he was associated with Naira Marley, Zlatan Ibile, Rahman Jago, and Biesloaded, he enjoyed greater popularity than Pocolee.
He remarked that Pocolee has become so prominent that he no longer responds to his direct messages.
